The Prospect Room Wollaton Hall and Derby Photoshoot for Waisted Creations

In March 2014 I had the pleasure of being hired for a photoshoot in Nottingham/Derby, it gave me the opportunity to see old colleagues and friends as well as meet new people who are close to this day. It was a very long day, it started with a 6am start for myself, earlier still for the designer and model I think, who were travelling from Coventry (the model had come from London, to Coventry) with the assistant. They got to the house I was staying at about 8am, and we had to be at Wollaton Hall for 10am.Rose tinted images of female model with turquoise hair in decadent scene

My trust make up artist Kat Green arrived at 8am too, and after a sleepy, awkward start, we all consumed tea, coffee and started unpacking all our outfits and got Ruby the model into make-up, where she had her tattoos covered with make-up and a miraculous and out of the ordinary makeover was done on her (pale brows, no eye-liner etc)

We then jet set off to Wollaton Hall and arrived spot on 10am – then before we knew it (and weren’t even dressed fully) it was 10:30. Now we only had the room until 11am and had two corsets to shoot.Rose tinted images of female model with turquoise hair in decadent scene

There isint too much I can say about the actual shooting part at Wollaton Hall, it was very sureal and fast paced and can only really describe it with the images I provide at the end of this post (the images you have seen so far in a bedroom are from the 2nd set). But all in all, everyone was so brilliant, whilst I shot in the hall, James (my web designer) filmed the shoot, hopefully I will have this made sooner rather than later.

At about 1pm we got back to Abi’s house (where I had been staying in Derby) and had a moment to relax, and then started another insane styling session that fell together from heaven from a shambles of clothing that we pushed together. Abi’s house is decadent and rococo, beautifully styled and perfect for this set.

Here are the Wollaton images: fetish, fashion, fantasy

The hall itself is Bruce Wayne’s manor that was used in the batman scene of Catwoman stealing his pearls.

The corset below was worn for only a few minutes. This was the first image of the shoot. I only took two shots of Ruby in this corset and both were good enough for me to whiz onto the next. _KER5067_a_1

All in all I would like to thank the designer Waisted Creations for hiring me for this photo shoot, I think the images are much more mature than we are used to and it reinstalled some faith in my own developing abilities, I got to work with new and old people, visit a place I have missed dearly from my time at university and created brilliant artwork for others to love. Through this I was also able to meet my current Web Designer James who is a genius in his own right.
